The Spektronics Team is represented by two teams in this competition: Spektronics 30 and Spektronics 31. Our teams achieved outstanding success by earning multiple prestigious awards. These achievements highlight the team’s excellence in innovation, technical performance, sustainability, and presentation skills, further strengthening their reputation as one of Indonesia’s leading student engineering teams on the international stage.

Spektronics Team achieved remarkable international recognition by winning three prestigious awards: the Gold Prize SIIF 2025, the Special Award from the Swiss-Korean Association , and the VIFOTEC Award for Best International Invention from . Their innovation, titled “Waste to Watt,” focuses on converting used alkaline battery waste into environmentally friendly energy through zinc recovery and electroplating technology.

Spektronics Team achieved an outstanding accomplishment by winning 1st place at the 2024 in Germany. Competing against strong international teams, the Indonesian team impressed the judges with their innovative chemistry-powered vehicle, precise control system, and excellent safety concept

We are thrilled to reflect on our participation in the Annual AIChE Chem-E-Car Competition, held offline in Orlando, Florida, USA. After a six-year, our team made a triumphant return to the world's largest international event in this field.

At the Synergicon Southern Asia Region Chem-E-Car race in India, the Spektronics 23 car showcased remarkable performance on a 21-meter track, setting a new distance record among all participants. Impressively, the error margin was a mere 20 centimeters during our second attempt.

The uniqueness of our innovation lies in the introduction of a new electrical system incorporating hall effect sensors and microcontrollers. Our vehicle is environmentally friendly as the emissions resulting from the decomposition reaction can be recycled and reused, contributing to a cleaner environment. On this competition we also achieve Best Presentation, and Most-Eco Friendly Car.

Held by the Germany Engineering Association, We faced challenge from teams around the world. The biggest challenge is to ensure the safety details & build single mechanism that could start the car immediately.

Spektronics Turbon utilizes a thermoelectric generator as its power source, while Spektronics Nitro employs a turbine driven by the decomposition reaction of hydrogen peroxide to propel water into the turbine system.

International Invention Competition for WINTEX Category is an invention and innovation that has been in an advanced stage of invention. Spektronics brought the ideas to solve future food problems and land depression in urban area using vertical planting and hydrocolloid as new plant media. The use of automation irrigation and environment control is implemented by Raspberry Pi.
